Complete Day One Results
The University of Kentucky track & field squad had three first-place finishes in the opening day of the Rod McCravy Memorial on Friday, Feb. 1 at the Nutter Field House on UK’s campus.
Simidele Adeagbo charted a jump of 40-09.50 in the triple jump to take first place while Bill Powers had a toss of 60-00.50 in the men’s 35 lb. weight throw to take first. Daniel took first in the pole vault with a leap of 16-06.00. Aisha Smith threw an NCAA provisional qualifying throw of 59-00.75 in the women’s weight throw to take second, while Janet Crawford’s jump of 5-06.00 in the women’s high jump placed her second.
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, Feb. 2 when they wrap up competition in the two-day meet.
