The University of Kentucky men’s golf team stands in ninth-place after the opening day of the Conrad Rehling Alabama Invite at the Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Wildcats totaled a 15-over par 299 after two rounds of action.
Freshman John Holmes leads the way for the Cats tied in sixth-place with a two-under par 69. Andy Dustman follows Holmes with a 75 and tied in 30th-place. Other UK golfers in the tournament are Ryan Coyne with a 77, Philip Schardein with a 78 and Jack Hudson with an 80.
The tournament continues on Saturday, March 15 with two additional rounds of action and will conclude on Sunday, March 17.
