The University of Kentucky men’s soccer team announced its 2002 spring schedule on Thursday, March 21. The Cats kick the short season off with a trip to Bloomington, Ind., to face five-time national champion Indiana on Friday, April 5. IU is coming off a trip to the NCAA title game where the Hoosiers fell to North Carolina, 2-0.
UK then travels two days later to the Mountain State Invitational in Princeton, W.Va., for a doubleheader on Sunday, April 7. Kentucky will face Duke in game one and will follow it up with a match against Radford that evening.
The Cats return home on April 13 to play host to Vanderbilt and Michigan. April 14th will bring West Virginia Wesleyan to Lexington, before UK faces IUPUI and Centre College in a doubleheader on Sunday April 21 to close out the spring season.
All home games will be played at the UK Soccer Complex.
