BATON ROUGE, La. – University of Kentucky track and field junior Simidele Adeagbo earned All-America honors for the second consecutive season when she finished eighth in the women’s triple jump on Saturday, May 31, at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Baton Rouge, La.

Adeagbo became UK’s second All-American of the outdoor season after junior Janet Crawford took third in the women’s high jump on Thursday. Teresa Bundy of Florida State finished first in the event with a leap of 44-00.00.

Sophomore Jeff Chakouian, however, missed All-America honors after finishing 14th in the men’s shot put. His throw of 61-00.75 was one of his shortest of the outdoor season. Janus Robberts took home first place in the event with an impressive toss of 70-10.50.
