Toledo, Ohio – The UK men’s golf team finished the second tournament of the season in 13th place at the Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational in Toledo, Ohio. John Holmes lead UK with a three-day total of 226, which left him tied for 24th place in the individual standings.

The Florida Gators took the team title and Camilo Villegas of Florida and Nick Watney of Fresno State, tied for the individual lead

Other scores for Kentucky included Ryan Coyne (228), Mark Blakefield (230), Matt Wells (238) and Brandon Waldrop (241).

The Cats have a few weeks off before they head to Newport, R.I., for the Adams Cup of Newport to be held on Oct. 8-9.
