Kentucky at Florida Selected by CBS: The Kentucky at Florida game on Sept. 28 has been selected for live national television by CBS. Game time is 3:30 p.m.

This will be Kentucky’s second live national television appearance of the season. The season opener at Louisville was televised by espn2.


Pinner is Fourth Wildcat With Three Consecutive 100-Yard Games: With consecutive 100-yard rushing games against Texas-El Paso (116), Indiana (141), and Middle Tennessee (163), Artose Pinner has become the fourth Wildcat in school history to achieve that accomplishment.

Other Wildcats to break the century mark in at least three consecutive games include Sonny Collins (five games, 1975 and three games, 1973), George Adams (four games, 1984), and Moe Williams (three games, 1995).

Pinner’s three touchdowns against Middle Tennessee made him the first UK player to rush for three TDs in a game since Moe Williams scored three times vs. Tennessee in 1995.


Pinner, Abney Moved Up Career Charts: Running back Artose Pinner and wide receiver Derek Abney moved up the career charts during Saturday’s game against Middle Tennessee.

Pinner had 163 rushing yards, giving him 1,198 in his career. He advanced from 26th to 21st on the UK career rushing list.

Abney had four receptions for 78 yards. He remained in fifth place on the UK career receptions list with 119 catches. He advanced from ninth to eighth in career receiving yardage with 1,358 yards.
