On the aggressiveness of the team…
“That was a big part of our game plan. I told them I didn’t want to see any outside shots until the ball had gone inside. I thought Keiko (Tate), Shambrica (Jones) and SeSe (Helm) did an excellent job. We got the ball to them, they took it hard to the hole, they were very big inside and I like that. We need to be very aggressive inside.”
On what they need to work on…
“We need to go back and work on all aspects of our game. We need to continue to get better. We’re going to work on our low post, we’re going to work on our outside shooting and we’re going to work on our execution. All those things need tightening.”

On what positives can be taken away from the first game…
“We got tremendous effort out of everybody. When coach told us what we had to change, we changed.”

On her perfect shooting night…
“There were a lot of open shots that I saw and I just took them. After the first few shots went down I was feeling pretty confident.”
On coming back this season without a stress fracture…
“It’s great to be back and actually not be in pain when I run. I’m looking forward to this season playing healthy. My foot is doing great.”
