UK is coming off a 2-1 double overtime victory over in-state rival Louisville on Tuesday that drew 1,682 fans to the UK Soccer Complex, the fifth most in UK history. The junior from Cincinnati, Ohio led Kentucky in scoring last season with 15 points and received third-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America honors. Shteiwi now has two game-winning goals on the season and is tied for fifth on the all-time game-winning goals list at Kentucky.

Butler is 2-1-1 on the season and is currently tied with the Wildcats 2-2-0 in the all-time series. Kentucky defeated the Bulldogs 1-0 in their match-up last season at the Furman Invitational in Greenville, S.C. Butler is currently tied for the Horizon League lead in fewest goals allowed (5) and ranks second in the league in goals against average (1.18).
