The Kentucky women’s golf team shot a second-day 316 at the Mason Rudolph Championship Saturday in Franklin, Tenn. The Cats’ two-day total of 629 leaves UK in 15th place out of the 17-team tournament heading into the final round of play, which begins Sunday morning at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.

Erin Faulkner leads the Cats after 36 holes, shooting a 77 for the second consecutive day and ending the day tied for 53rd place. After carding a first round 77, Emily Culbertson shot an 80 on day two, leaving the freshman in a tie for 67th. Senior Eva Gessner improved upon her opening round 84 with a 78 on Saturday.

UCLA leads all teams in the tournament, sitting five shots ahead of Georgia with a 576. Erica Blasberg from Arizona overtook the lead with a three-under 69 on Saturday, while Auburn’s Maria Martinez sits one shot back in a close second.
