Series record: Florida now leads the overall series 37-17 and is 14-10 when playing in Lexington.

QB Jared Lorenzen went 18-of-27 for 179 yards. He also had 12 rushes for a net 36 yards.

Lorenzen’s interception in the third quarter broke a string of 75 consecutive passes without interception dating back to the Murray State game.

Lorenzen had 215 yards total offense today. He now has 9,305 in his career, moving past Florida’s Shane Matthews (9,241 yards) for fourth place on the SEC career total offense list.

Lorenzen threw for 179 yards. He has 9,061 passing yards in his career and today became the seventh player in SEC history to reach 9,000 passing yards.

Arliss Beach had three rushing touchdowns today, one in each of the first three quarters. He also had a TD in the fourth quarter against Indiana, giving him four straight quarters with a TD.

The last time a UK player scored three rushing touchdowns was Artose Pinner with four vs. Vanderbilt on Nov. 16, 2002.

UK scored on its first possession for the first time this season. Previously had Kentucky scored on its third possession against Louisville, Murray State and Indiana.

FS Muhammed Abdullah grabbed his fourth interception of the season. He was tied for the SEC lead in interceptions coming into today’s game. Later in the game he also had a fumble recovery.

CB Bo Smith recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.

Today’s crowd of 70,579 is the seventh-largest in Commonwealth Stadium history.

Kicker Clint Ruth had touchbacks on his first three kickoffs. He came into the game with nine touchbacks on 20 kickoffs (45 percent) this season.

UK won the time of possession battle (36:32) for the first time in 10 games. The Wildcats last owned a TOP advantage (32:27) in last year’s 16-12 loss to South Carolina.

TB Arliss Beach, NT Lamar Mills and ILB Chad Anderson earned their first career starts today.

Kentucky allowed 24 points today, the fewest in a game against Florida since 1993.

TE Win Gaffron had his best receiving game as a Wildcat with four catches for 46 yards.
