Memorial Coliseum Seating Chart
The “Future of Kentucky Basketball” awaits a capacity crowd of 8,700 Friday night when the defending SEC Champion Wildcats open practice for the 2003-04 season as part of the 22nd-annual Big Blue Madness festivities. The Memorial Coliseum doors open at 10:30 p.m., and the event will be carried live throughout the state on UKTV. Games, contests, performances by the UK Cheerleaders and Dance Team, and other activities will occur leading up to the introduction of Kentucky’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Below is a list of Friday’s campus activities leading up to Big Blue Madness:
7:00 p.m. – UK vs. LSU volleyball (Memorial Coliseum)
7:30 p.m. – UK vs. Western Michigan men’s soccer (UK Soccer Complex)
7:30 p.m. – Homecoming Parade begins at Commonwealth Stadium and proceeds to Stoll Field (in front of Memorial Coliseum)
8:00 p.m. – Schuers perform at Stoll Field
9:15 p.m. – Country singer Mark Wills performs at Stoll Field
10:30 p.m. – Doors open for Big Blue Madness (Memorial Coliseum)
Tickets for this year’s Madness were distributed last Saturday in 47 minutes.
Blue/White Scrimmage set for Oct. 25
The Wildcats’ Blue/White Scrimmage is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Memorial Coliseum (NOTE NEW TIME). Tickets ($5) are currently on sale at the ticket office in Memorial Coliseum or by clicking on the “Tickets” link at the top of this page.
