Thomas Morgan Quotes
On coming on strong at the end of the season?
?I wanted to finish as strong as I could. I put a lot of work and made a lot of sacrifices for this season, especially with it being my last. I just really decided to put more into it, and then I got more out of it.?
On winning the SEC Championship?
?The SEC is a very competitive conference. There are so many factors individually for who I compete against We?ve had injuries that have sidelined some of the great runners in the SEC, and just the way the year has worked with different competition coming around every year ? I have been pretty blessed with the season that I have had.?
On how confident he is?
?I feel really strong with everything, my training, the races? I feel that I haven?t really maximized my potential yet and that it would be a perfect time to do it Monday.?
On if he has surprised himself?
?I have surprised myself. I knew that it could be done, but I didn?t know that it would ever happen this way, all of the sudden. It?s always been a dream, but now I think I have the training to back it up.?
