Williams, Burns Leading SEC Defensive Statistics: Junior defensive end Vincent ?Sweet Pea? Burns and sophomore linebacker Dustin Williams continue to lead individual defensive categories in the Southeastern Conference.

Burns has 15 tackles for loss this season, leading the SEC at 1.5 TFL per game. Williams paces the SEC in total tackles with 10.8 stops per game. He has totaled 108 tackles on the season.

Free safety Muhammad Abdullah is third in the league in interceptions with four pickoffs.

Bernard Named ?Mr. Wildcat?: Senior wide receiver Chris Bernard has been named ?Mr. Wildcat? for 2003 Kentucky football. The title of ?Mr. Wildcat? is awarded to the senior player who, pound-for-pound, is the top weightlifter in the bench press, squat lift, and power clean.

?Big Blue Crush? Underway: The annual ?Big Blue Crush? is a blood drive competition between Kentucky and Tennessee prior to the two teams squaring off on the football field. This year?s ?Big Blue Crush? is being held Nov. 17-21. Kentucky leads the series, 9-5, and there has been one tie.

In the Lexington area, fans can ?bleed blue? for the Wildcats at the CKBC office at 330 Waller Avenue. The CKBC will be open Nov. 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fans also may give blood at the CKBC offices in Somerset, Hazard, Pikeville, and Prestonsburg.
