Petty, a Baltimore, Maryland, native, who is second in the league in field-goal percentage (53.4) and third in the league in rebounds (252), also is leading UK in rebounds, with 10.5 on the season. She is one of just four players in the SEC to have at least 12 double-doubles in 2023-24.
Kentucky and Auburn are tied, 27-27, in the all-time series, which began in 1980. UK leads AU, 12-11, in game played on The Plains.
Auburn is 15-8 this season, including 4-6 in the league and 11-3 at home. Auburn recently snapped a two-game losing streak with a win at Missouri, 70-59, last Sunday. Scott-Grayson is the lone Tiger averaging double-digit scoring, but she is putting up 17.7 points per game, which ranks fifth in the SEC. For the most part, the Tigers rebound by committee, though they’re led by Taylen Collins’ 6.4 per game.
