Kentucky junior Tigran Martirosyan dropped the first set of his match against Vanderbilt?s 27th-ranked Matt Lockin but rallied for a pair of 6-4 set victories to claim another win over an ITA top-30 opponent. Martirosyan advances to Sunday?s quarterfinal round where he?ll face Georgia?s 54th-ranked Matias Ormaza.

Vanderbilt?s Chad Harris eliminated UK junior Jesse Witten by a 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 count. However, Witten remains in the SEC Indoors on the doubles side after racking up two wins with UK senior Rahim Esmail. The pair will battle Ole Miss? Claes Lindholm and Erik Claesson in Sunday?s round of 16.
