Demaree was a four-year letterman for Kentucky from 1998-2001. He totaled 103 tackles, including 18 tackles for loss and 3.5 quarterback sacks. He made the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2002, playing two games before being released. He was on the Chicago Bears practice squad before being picked up by the Panthers.
