Baton Rouge, La. ? The Kentucky women?s golf team moved into 14th place after two rounds at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La. on Saturday, March 6. The Cats fired a 330 during the second round at the University Club and currently sit one shot behind Augusta State.
UK was led for the second consecutive day by Erin Faulker, who carded an 80 on day two and is 48th in the standings. Both Faulkner and Eva Gessner improved their scores from Friday, as Gessner registered an 81 to leave the senior in 56th. Katie Dixon fired an 84 (70th) and Ali Kicklighter and Stacy Springer remain in a tie for 78th with second-round totals of 85.
Tulane leads the pack at the three-round tournament with a second round score of 296. Ashley Prange of North Carolina leads the way through 36 holes at an even par .
