Lexington, (Ky.) ? Kentucky could not find its offense on Wednesday as the Wildcats fell to the visiting Thundering Herd of Marshall University, 6-2, at Cliff Hagan Stadium. Marshall scored four times in the top of the eighth inning to open up a 2-1 game on its way to the victory. The loss drops the Wildcats to 14-7 on the season.

Senior Caleb Stewart extended his career-best hitting streak to 19 games with a double in his first at-bat, and finished the game 2-for-4. Joe Naill also had two hits for UK, including his first hit of the season, after missing the majority of the year with a lower leg injury.
Kentucky starter Andy Myette (0-1) was saddled with the loss. Scott Henning (2-3) took home the victory for the Herd. Glevenyak was the offensive star for Marshall, posting a 4-for-4 evening to go along with his five RBI.
