The Kentucky at Louisville season-opening football game on Sun., Sept. 5 will be at 3:30 p.m. in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The game will be televised by ESPN; that is a change from the earlier announcement of having the game on ESPN2.

This will be the third consecutive year that the game will be on live national or regional television and the seventhe time since the series was renewed in 1994. The game has been carried by ESPN or ESPN2 in 1996, 2002 and 2003 in addition to the upcoming contest.
