LEXINGTON ? Kentucky senior Jamal Shteiwi garnered his second All-America honor of the postseason on Friday when College Soccer News named him to their second team.

Earlier in the week, Shteiwi was tabbed to the NSCAA/adidas All-America squad. With that honor, he joined former Wildcat star Ilkka Jantti as the only Kentucky players to earn All-America status.

The Cincinnati, Ohio, native led Kentucky to the Mid-American Conference Championship this year and was named MAC Player of the Year. He scored 11 goals and tallied eight assists to lead the league in both categories.

Shteiwi wrapped up his career ranked in the top three in school history in every offensive category. He has earned an invitation to the Major League Soccer combine held in January.
