The Kentucky men?s and women?s swimming and diving squads return to UK?s Lancaster Aquatic Center for their first home meet in two months Thursday evening, as the Cats welcome conference foe LSU. The meet is set for a 5 p.m. start.
The UK women (3-2, 1-1) and 12th-ranked Kentucky men (4-1, 1-1) are coming off of exhibition wins over Indian River Community College and exhibition losses to No. 2 Auburn last week in Ft. Pierce, Fla. The Cats dealt the 23rd-ranked men and 26th-ranked women of Alabama a pair of defeats before a standing-room-only audience at the Lancaster Aquatic Center in Kentucky?s most recent home meet.
The Cats and Tigers last met in Baton Rouge two seasons ago, as the UK men claimed an easy victory while the UK women fell to the Tigers.
