The Kentucky men?s tennis team won all three matches Friday to advance to the round of 32 at the Region Three Indoor Championships in Memphis, Tenn.
Seniors Nate Emge and Alex Hume, along with freshman Bruno Agostinelli each recorded straight set victories in their opening matches of the tournament.
Emge, the Evansville, Ind., native dismissed Southern Mississippi?s Marc Lux 6-2, 6-2.
The 9th-seeded Hume also advanced to the round of 32 by beating Memphis? Bryan Bankester 6-0, 6-1.
The final Wildcat to advance was Agostinelli, who captured the eighth victory of his young collegiate tennis career by defeating Vladimir Paunic of SE Louisiana6-0, 6-2.
