Kentucky?s Rajon Rondo and Patrick Sparks were both named to the coaches preseason All-SEC team, the conference office announced Friday.
Rondo was one of four unanimous first-team selections, joining Alabama?s Chuck Davis and Ronald Steele and Arkansas? Ronnie Brewer. Rounding out the first team were Florida?s Corey Brewer, LSU?s Glen Davis, Tennessee?s C.J. Watson and Vanderbilt?s Shan Foster.
A 6-1 sophomore from Louisville, Rondo was named to the SEC All-Freshman team last year after setting UK?s season steals record and leading the SEC with 87.
Sparks earned second-team honors along with Jermareo Davidson of Alabama, Jonathan Modica and Darian Townes of Arkansas, Al Horford of Florida, Darrel Mitchell of LSU, Chris Lofton of Tennessee and Mario Moore of Vanderbilt.
A 6-1 senior from Central City, Ky., Sparks was named second-team All-SEC by the coaches and third-team by AP last year. He twice earned SEC Player of the Week honors, following big games against Louisville and Alabama.

Kentucky holds its annual Blue-White Scrimmage at Memorial Coliseum, Saturday at 2 p.m. The Wildcats host Northern (S.D.) State, Nov. 2, in their first of two exhibition games.
