WINDERMERE, Fla. ? The No. 9 Kentucky men?s golf team shot a 597 (300-297) Sunday, but the Wildcats are in 12th place after two rounds of play at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in Windermere, Fla. The Cats were led by freshman Dan Woltman (Beaver Dam, Wisc.), who carded a two-over-par 146 (75-71) on the day.

No. 23 Wake Forest leads the charge at the prestigious tournament, which includes 13 teams from the Golfweek Top 25, after firing a seven-under-par 569 (282-287) through two rounds of play. Defending Isleworth and NCAA champion Georgia is in second place with a six-under-par 570 (287-283). The Demon Deacons? Sean Moore headlines the individual leaderboard with a six-under-par 138 (69-69).

Woltman currently is tied for 23rd place to lead the Wildcats, while senior Matt Kohn (Longwood, Fla.) is tied for 30th place with a 147 (77-70).

Sophomore Brad Doster (Winter Park, Fla.) shot a six-over-par 150 (74-76) and is tied for 51st place. Freshman Andy Winings (Brownsburg, Ind.) carded a 155 (74-81) and currently is in a tie for 68th place. Junior Tyler Wilson (Lexington, Ky.) is currently in 87th place with a 161 (81-80) to round out the tournament field for Kentucky.

Play continues at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday with a shotgun start. No round will be played on Monday due to inclement weather conditions resulting from Hurricane Wilma.
