BATON ROUGE, La. ? Senior Ali Kicklighter (DeLand, Fla.) carded her second consecutive round of 74 Saturday as the Kentucky women?s golf team is currently in a tie for seventh place after two rounds of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic. The Wildcats have tallied a two-round total of 611 (303-308) at the three-day event hosted by LSU at the school?s University Club.

Kicklighter is currently in a tie for 12th place at the tournament after having fired a 4-over-par 148 (74-74) through two rounds of play. Senior Erin Faulkner (Bowling Green, Ky.) and junior Katie Johnson (Lexington, Ky.) each are tied for 35th place with two-round totals of 153.

Fellow Southeastern Conference school Auburn leads the tournament field with a 10-over-par 586 (297-289), while host LSU is second with a 588 (298-290). LSU?s Melissa Eaton heads the individual field with a 5-under-par 239 (73-66) after two days of play. She carded a course-record round of 66 Saturday.

Kentucky sophomore Elizabeth Dotson (White Bluff, Tenn.) is tied for 54th with a 157 (80-77), while sophomore Beth Felts (Chattanooga, Tenn.) is tied for 74th place with a 162 (83-79).

The Wildcats return to action Sunday with the final round of play in the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic. Play begins with tee times at 9 a.m. EST. Complete results and a recap will be available at ukathletics.com.
