GAINESVILLE, Fla. ? Senior Kentucky golfer Ali Kicklighter (DeLand, Fla.), in her final return to her home state, carded a 1-over-par 71 Saturday in the first round of the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational as the Wildcats are in sixth place after the opening 18 holes at the event hosted by the University of Florida. As a team, the Cats shot a 304 in the first round.
Kicklighter tied her career-best round of 71 and is currently in a tie for third place in the individual field. Host Florida and Big-10 foe Purdue lead the tournament field after each firing 289s in the opening round of play.

Sophomore Elizabeth Dotson (White Bluff, Tenn.) is tied for 29th place after shooting a 6-over-par 76, while senior Erin Faulkner (Bowling Green, Ky.) is tied for 34th place with a 77.
Junior Katie Johnson (Lexington, Ky.) and sophomore Beth Felts (Chattanooga, Tenn.) are each tied for 55th place with 80s.
