Junior (2016): Junior (2016): Threw her first-career no-hitter against Albany in the Winthrop Invitational on March 4 … In that game, she went the full five innings, striking out a career-high 12 batters … Has struck out 72 batters this season in her 14 appearances in the circle for the Wildcats … Has not allowed more than four hits in a single appearance this season … Has only allowed seven extra-base hits … Has allowed 22 total hits in 13 appearances … Started the Friday night SEC opener against South Carolina allowing two runs in 2.2 innings of work, while striking out two batters … Started the rubber game of the Ole Miss series on Sunday, going 3.1 innings allowing just one run on four hits with seven strikeouts, and four of them looking … Started the game vs. Murray State, throwing five scoreless innings on four hits. 

Sophomore (2015): Tossed 26.0 innings with 35 strikeouts behind a 1-1 record and 3.23 ERA  … Tossed three shutout innings against Georgia Southern with two strikeouts and three walks … Went four innings against IUPUI with four earned runs allowed and five strikeouts … Four strong innings against Murray State with no runs allowed and only three hits with six strikeouts … Had a season-best six strikeouts vs. Ohio and Murray State … Tossed 1.2 scoreless against Alabama in a no-decision and 3.2 innings against FAU with three hits and one run allowed … Tossed two scoreless innings against South Carolina with three strikeouts.

Freshman (2014): Went 2-3 in her rookie season with a 2.93 ERA … Struck out 45 batters in 40.2 innings pitched … Tossed seven scoreless innings in her college debut with two hits allowed and nine strikeouts vs. George Washington … Came out of the bullpen to throw three scoreless innings vs. IPFW, striking out five to get the win … Started vs. EKU and went four innings, allowing only one run on four hits with four strikeouts … Saw her first SEC action against Missouri, tossing three innings, allowing three runs on four hits with six walks … Was fantastic against Texas A&M, tossing 6.1 scoreless innings with two hits allowed and seven strikeouts … Earned her first career save against the Aggies and was named SEC Freshman of the Week for her effort … Tossed five innings in relief on Friday vs. Georgia, allowing two runs on three hits with four strikeouts.

High School: A standout performer at Milford High School in Milford, Mass., under head coach Brian Macchi pitching and playing first base … Shined in the circle and in the batter’s box in high school as a four-year letterwinner earning team and league MVP honors all four seasons … Countless honors, including a three-time Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year (2010, 2012, 2013) and ESPN’s Miss. Softball for Massachusetts in 2012 and 2013 … Named 2013 Boston Globe All-Scholastic Player of the Year … Ended her high school career with the Massachusetts state strikeout record (1,219) and Massachusetts career wins record (86) … Under her leadership, Milford High School won the 2012 and 2013 Division I State Championships after finishing as a state semifinalist in 2011 and state finalist in 2010 … Paced her high school to four consecutive district and league championships during her time … Finished her four-year career with an 86-4 record, including 25 no-hitters and 11 perfect games … Hit .489 her senior season at the dish with nine homers, while he posted a 0.04 ERA with 358 strikeouts … Threw eight no-hitters, four perfect games and eight one-hitters her senior year … Had equally good numbers her junior season with a .462 batting average and nine roundtrippers on top of a 0.08 ERA and 359 strikeouts … Excelled as an underclassman as well, with a 0.94 ERA and 296 strikeouts as a sophomore and 0.72 ERA and 206 strikeouts as a freshman … Was also on the swimming team in high school for one season … Member of the High Honor Roll and National Honors Society in high school while helping with her church’s youth group and teaching lessons at Plant Fast Pitch … Daughter of Shawn and Jean Smith … Has one sister, Andrea Smith, who played collegiate softball at Long Island University Post and is now at Framingham State University … Plans a major in kinesiology.
