The Kentucky volleyball team will close its 2006 spring exhibition season with a home match against Morehead State Friday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum. Admission is free.

Kentucky has already played Florida Atlantic, Duke, Ohio, Miami (Ohio) and Purdue in spring action. The team also spent a week over spring break training at Florida Atlantic before taking on the Owls to close the week.

The four-week spring season allows teams time in the gym to prepare for the upcoming fall season with its returning players before the summer break. The entire team, including the incoming freshmen and transfers, begin training for the 2006 season during the second week in August. Kentucky opens its fall schedule on Aug. 29 with a home match against Western Kentucky.
