LEXINGTON, Ky.?The No. 31 University of Kentucky men?s tennis team will host the nation?s second-rated team when the Baylor Bears visit the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center on Friday.

Kentucky comes into the match with a 2-1 record, having just lost to No. 43 Middle Tennessee State on Wednesday. Kentucky got a lift from the return of No. 89 sophomore Bruno Agostinelli who returned to the lineup.

UK?s upperclassmen have started off hot, as senior Peter Bjork and juniors Marcus Sundh and Will Ward are all undefeated in singles action. Bjork and Sundh opened on Sunday with two wins in Kentucky?s defeat of UNC-Greensboro and Toledo. Ward picked up a win against Toledo to begin the year. All three of the players won their singles matches and accounted for the Wildcat?s three points in their 4-3 loss at Middle Tennessee State.

The Bears and Kentucky have faced each other each of the past five seasons, with Baylor holding a 5-0 overall record against the Blue and White.

Baylor boasts four players in the ranked in the top-100 in singles play, and also has the No. 44 rated doubles team. No. 17 Michal Kokta, No. 53 Dominik Mueller, No. 56 LarsPoerschke and No. 66 Denes Lukacs headline the Bears? roster.
