BATON ROUGE, La..–The University of Kentucky women?s golf team continued its improved play for the second consecutive day as the ladies pushed ahead of SEC-foe Mississippi for 20th place in the LSU/Cleveland Classic.

The Blue and White fired its best round of the tournament with a final round score of 312 to take a two-stroke advantage over Ole Miss for 20th place. Kentucky shot a three round total of 961 (330-319-312 +97) to wrap up its spring break trip.

Freshman Erica Still enjoyed the best round of the day for the Wildcats carding a 76 for a three-round total of 21-over-par. Still and junior Beth Felts tied for 73rd place to lead the team in scoring. Felts fired a final round score of 77, the only Wildcat to have two rounds in the 70s.

Senior Marissa Muir enjoyed a great day as well, shooting a 79 to grab a tie for 90th place. Senior Katie Johnson tied for 91st with a third-round score of 80. Junior Elizabeth Dotson rounded out the scoring for the Blue and White as she fired an 86 in the third round.

Kentucky returns to action in a little more than a week when they play the Lady Seahawk Invitational on March 26th.
