One of the cornerstones of Kentucky head baseball coach John Cohen?s philosophy in building a well-rounded, successful program is being an active force in the community. Over the last several weeks, members of the UK baseball team have been going to area elementary schools to speak. During the visits, the team members handed out Kentucky Baseball ?Score 4? bookmarks, while speaking about the importance of scoring well on tests, concentrating on reading, and being students first. The team also hosted a free youth clinic prior to the season in February and a youth coaches clinic on March 10.
