LEXINGTON ? The 2007 Kentucky gymnastics media guide has been named the nation?s best gymnastics media guide by the College Sports Information Directors of America, it was announced Friday.

The guide, edited by UK Assistant Director of Media Relations Scott Dean and designed by Creative Director Kim Troxall, beat out fellow Southeastern Conference schools LSU and Alabama for the top spot.

A youthful 2007 Wildcat squad earned its third straight NCAA Central Regional appearance, where it finished sixth in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The team competed with at least half of its lineup spots filled by freshman all season long.
