LEXINGTON, Ky. — Former Kentucky pitcher Brandon Webb is on the ballot for the MLB Monster All-Star Final Vote, used to complete the American and National League rosters for the 78th All-Star Game on July 10 at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Webb, a right-hander for the Arizona Diamondbacks, can receive votes from the fans on MLB.com until 6 p.m. EDT on Thursday, and results will be announced on MLB.com shortly thereafter.
Webb, earned All-Star honors in 2006, part of a memorable season that saw the Ashland, Ky., native win the National League Cy Young. In 18 starts this season, Webb has posted a 8-6 record and a 3.27 ERA.
