Kentucky has been named the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl National Team of the Week, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America, following Saturday?s 42-29 victory at Arkansas. Jason Leger and Wesley Woodyard have earned SEC Honors.

Trailing 29-21 in the fourth quarter, Kentucky rallied with three consecutive touchdowns to win the game. Dating back to last season, it was the fifth time in the last nine games that UK came from behind in the fourth quarter to win.

The Wildcats are now 4-0 on the season, 1-0 in the Southeastern Conference and ranked No. 14 by The Associated Press and No. 15 in the USA Today/Coaches poll. Kentucky returns to action Saturday vs. Florida Atlantic at 1 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium.

Leger, Woodyard Earn SEC Player of the Week Honors: Offensive guard Jason Leger and linebacker Wesley Woodyard have received player of the week honors from the Southeastern Conference office.

Leger, a senior from Brodhead, Ky., was chosen SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. He graded at 88 percent during UK?s 42-29 win at Arkansas. He had three knockdown blocks, no penalties, and did not allow a sack. This is Leger?s second award of the year, having also received the honor after UK?s win over Kent State.

Woodyard, a senior from LaGrange, Ga., was picked as SEC Defensive Player of the Week. He accounted for a game-high 17 tackles. In the second quarter, Woodyard knocked loose a fumble that Trevard Lindley returned 66 yards for a touchdown. For the season, Woodyard leads the SEC with 12.8 tackles per game.
