WINDERMERE, Fla. — The University of Kentucky men?s golf team climbed four spots today and now stands 11th after two rounds at the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate in Windermere, Fla. The Wildcats finished with a team score of 291 (+3) to bring their two-day total to 588 (297-291).

Georgia leaped eight spots and now leads the 18-team field with a total of 566 (291-275). Wake Forest falls to second with a score of 570 (285-285), while Southern Cal is third at 571 (284-287). Oklahoma State (284-289) and Clemson (287-290) round out the top five with totals of 573 and 577, respectively.

Junior Andy Winings tied his career-low with a second-round 67 (-5) as he jumped 20 spots in the individual standings and is now tied for third overall. Winings carded five birdies in round two and eagled the par-five three hole to tie his personal best, which he had in the first tournament of the fall at the Inverness Intercollegiate. The Brownsburg, Ind., native has a total of 139 (72-67) and is one stroke off the lead behind Rickie Fowler of Oklahoma State and Southern Cal?s Jamie Lovemark who are both six-under through two rounds.

Senior Cale Barr had three birdies and finished at even par 72 on the second day of play to bring his total to 141 (69-72). Barr is also in the top 10, tied for ninth overall through two rounds. Sophomore Derek Oldham shot a four-over par 76 on Monday to bring his total to 152 (76-76), while junior Ben Fuqua had tow birdies and also finished at plus-four. Fuqua is now tied for 82nd overall with a score of 156 (80-76), while sophomore Jordan Blann rounds out the scoring with a two-day total of 163 (80-83).

The event wraps up on Tuesday with the third and final round. Start time is set for 8 a.m.
