1948 Team to be Honored

The 1948 Kentucky men?s basketball team will be honored at halftime of the Wildcats? game against South Carolina.

There will be an autograph session earlier in the day at the Kentucky Basketball Museum. One hundred fans will have an opportunity to get autographs from team members that participated in the 1948 NCAA championship season. The autograph session will take place Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at the museum. Tickets will be distributed to the first 100 fans at the entrance of the museum on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. One ticket will be given per person and fans will be allowed one item to be autographed.

Football Team to be Honored

The Kentucky football team, champion of the 2007 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, will be honored before Saturday?s game against South Carolina.

The team will be recognized during a pregame ceremony at Rupp Arena, immediately after the national anthem. Fans wishing to see the event should be in their seats by 12:45 p.m. The game will tip off shortly after 1 p.m.
