LEXINGTON, Ky. — Leading Alabama 12-1 after the top of the fourth inning, the No. 4 Kentucky baseball team is currently in a rain delay, until threatening storms pass through the Lexington area. After assesing the weather radar, a decision has been made to attempt to start the game at 8:30 p.m.
Kentucky (16-0, 1-0 SEC) plated six runs in each the bottom of the second and the bottom of the third, highlighted by a three-run homer from preseason All-American outfielder Collin Cowgill, his fifth of the season.
