- Kentucky’s Trevard Lindley intercepted UF’s Tim Tebow in the second quarter. It was only Tebow’s second time throwing an interception of the season. It was Lindley’s fourth interception of the season and ninth of his career.
- Trevard Lindley has broken up a pass in seven of eight games this season and 10-of-11 games dating back to 2007.
- Freshman Randall Cobb rushed for a career-high 52 yards on nine carries. He also completed 9-of-18 passes for 78 yards and totaled two catches for seven yards.
- Tony Dixon totaled five catches for 19 yards and six rushes for 27 yards. Dixon is now two yards shy of 25th place all-time in career rushing yards at Kentucky. He ranks 26th with 1,118 career rushing yards.
- Tim Masthay, the SEC leader in touchbacks, has 18 touchbacks on the season after one touchback against Florida. Masthay’s 23 touchbacks last season led the Southeastern Conference. Masthay also punted five times for 50.6 yards with a long of 57. He totaled three punts for 50+ yards in the game. Masthay led the SEC with a 45.2 punt average entering the game.
