LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky pushed Tennessee to five sets, but fell short in the tie-break set. Sarah Rumely had 51 assists on the night, resulting in four wildcats – Lauren Rapp, Sarah Mendoza, Becky Pavan, and Queen Nzenwa – to tally double digits in kills. Kentucky fell behind early in the fifth set and trailed 10-4. The Wildcats fought back to tie it at 14, but Tennessee recorded the next two points to win the match.

Following the match, Kentucky honored the seniors on the squad, Alisa Pierce and Queen Nzenwa, and senior manager Whitney Popp.
