LEXINGTON, Ky. — Due to inclement weather, the make-up game between No. 29 Kentucky and Western Michigan, scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Monday, has been cancelled. UK and WMU will wrap up the series Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
Kentucky (4-2) was originally scheduled to have Monday off, after a home-opening four-game set with WMU from Feb. 27-March 1. However, due to threatening weather in the southeast during the weekend, UK was forced to cancel its double header with WMU Saturday. In an attempt to make up one of the games, UK scheduled the game for Monday with Western Michigan, but cold temperatures have forced the cancellation of the game.
The Wildcats were scheduled to host Wright State Tuesday, but that game has been replaced with a make-up game with Western Michigan, slated for 4 p.m. ET Tuesday. Western Michigan will play Morehead State at Cliff Hagan Stadium, Tuesday at noon.
