No. 12 Kentucky Wraps Up Regular Season at Missouri on Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 12 Kentucky gymnastics team will wrap up its regular season on the road at Missouri on Friday inside the Hearnes Center. The meet is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET and will stream live on SEC Network+.
The Wildcats are coming off a win over Arkansas last Friday, marking the Cats’ third SEC win of the season. Kentucky posted a score of 196.525 against the Razorbacks, including a program record 49.325 on the bars. Sophomore Katrina Coca earned her first career win on the bars after posting a career-high score of 9.9. 
SCOUTING MISSOURI
Missouri is currently ranked 15th in the nation according to the latest Road to Nationals Regional Qualifying rankings. The Tigers are coming off their third highest score in school history and highest of the season at 197.200, including a 49.375 on the floor. Mizzou defeated Auburn last weekend, 197.200 – 195.350. Aspen Tucker won the all-around crown for MU with a score of 39.450.
NATIONAL RANKING
Kentucky is currently No. 12 in the latest Regional Qualifying Score ranking with a score of 196.535. UK averages a 196.280 and has a high of 197.475. Qualification for regional competition is based on a team’s and an all-around competitor’s six best regular-season-meet scores, of which three must be away. To obtain the regional qualifying score (RQS), the high score is eliminated and the remaining five scores are averaged.
ROTATION RANKINGS
Kentucky sits in the top 15 of every rotational ranking. UK’s highest ranking is on the beam at No. 10 with an RQS of 49.245 and an average score of 49.148. On vault, the Cats are No. 11 with an RQS of 49.185 and an average of 49.038. On the floor, the Cats are No. 14 at 49.190 and No. 15 on the bars at 49.110. 
PUTTING UP NUMBERS ON BEAM
Sophomore Alex Hyland has impressed on the beam all season. With scores of 9.9 over the last three meets, Hyland is third in the nation in average beam score with a 9.9 average. Her beam RQS of 9.905 is currently No. 11. Hyland has not posted a score below 9.875 this season, and earned a career best 9.95 in Kentucky’s historic win over Alabama. 
ALL-AROUND RANKINGS
Three Wildcats – Mollie Korth, Sidney Dukes and Alex Hyland – are in the top 20 of the all-around RQS rankings. Korth is the highest ranked at No. 12 with an RQS of 39.365 and a high of 39.625. Sidney Dukes comes in at No. 16 with an RQS of 39.315 and Alex Hyland is No. 20 at 39.250.
BARS RECORD
Kentucky continues rewrite to record books, this time on the bars. UK tied its highest score ever on the event with a 49.325 behind Katrina Coca’s career high 9.9. Katie Carlisle posted a 9.875, also a career high, and no Wildcat posted below a 9.775.
