Kentucky (11-4, 2-0 SEC) is fresh off defeating two ranked teams in then-No. 15 Ole Miss and then-No. 40 Mississippi State in its SEC home opener last weekend. The Wildcats beat the Rebels 5-2 on Sunday for the first time since 2002 and broke a 23-match SEC win streak by the Rebels. On Friday, UK won a 4-3 decision to Mississippi State.
Georgia (10-2, 2-0 SEC) and Tennessee (13-1, 2-0 SEC) also started their 2010 SEC schedule with two wins each last weekend, posting victories over then-No. 25 Alabama and then-No. 56 Auburn.
Last season, the Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats 6-1 in their only meeting of the season in Lexington. UK has not beat UGA since 2003 when it beat the Bulldogs twice. Georgia is 7-0 at home this season and leads the all-time series against the Wildcats 37-6.
The Bulldogs are lead in singles by No. 29 Javier Garrapiz, No. 104 Bo Seal and No. 105 Nate Schnugg. UGA has one doubles team ranked in No. 34 Garrapiz and Drake Bernstein.
Kentucky upset No. 4 Tennessee twice last season, defeating the Volunteers 4-2 in Knoxville and 4-3 in Lexington 4-3.
