LEXINGTON, Ky. –  The University of Kentucky Pep Band and Cheerleaders invites all Wildcat fans to a pep rally prior to UK’s NCAA Sweet 16 matchup against Nebraska Sunday, March 28 in Kansas City, Mo. The Kansas City host committee is putting on pep rallies for each team in the Power and Light District adjacent to the Sprint Center downtown. The pep rallies will be held at The Live Block, just steps from the arena. Kentucky’s scheduled pep rally is from 4:50 p.m. until 5:10 p.m. CT.

This marks Kentucky’s first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance since 1982. The fourth-seeded Cats will face the top-seeded Huskers (32-1) Sunday at approximately 10 p.m. ET.  The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2, ESPN360.com and also on the Big Blue Sports Radio Network with Neil Price. A live Gametracker, a live blog and FREE live stream will also be available on UKathletics.com. 

All session tickets may be purchased through the Sprint Center at 816-949-7050, at www.sprintcenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com.  All-session books include three games and are $48 for adults and $20 for youth (ages 0-18). Single session are $25 adult; $15 youth (0-18). Single session are $25 adult; $15 youth (0-18).

Also, if traveling to Kansas City early, join the UK Pep Band and Cheerleaders Saturday, March 27 at 810 Zone in Kansas City for a game-watch part for the UK men’s basketball game vs. West Virginia in the NCAA Elite Eight.

Game time is 6:05 p.m. CT, so make sure to plan accordingly.
