LEXINGTON, Ky. – The eighth-ranked University of Kentucky men’s tennis team battles No. 31 Vanderbilt in the regular-season finale for both teams Saturday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. The dual match starts with doubles play at 1 p.m. ET.

Kentucky (22-7, 7-3 Southeastern Conference) has won 11 of its last 12 matches, including six consecutive. Vanderbilt (13-8, 5-5 SEC) has won each of its last three matches, including two away from home.

UK sophomore Eric Quigley (Pewee Valley, Ky.) ranks 11th in the nation in singles play with an 18-5 overall record and 6-3 mark in SEC action. He is undefeated in singles action this month, having won all eight matches with four coming against ranked players.

Quigley teams with junior Brad Cox (Duluth, Ga.) at No. 1 doubles for Kentucky. The duo ranks 23rd nationally with a 13-8 record this season.

Wildcat sophomore Alex Musialek (Dax, France) ranks 50th in singles listings with a 17-7 overall mark and 7-2 SEC slate. Musialek has won five of his last seven singles matches and each of his last three contests against league foes.

Vanderbilt is led in singles action by Ryan Lipman who ranks 30th. Adam Baker and Charlie Jones are listed at No. 44 among ranked doubles teams.

Kentucky plays host o the SEC Men’s Tennis Tournament beginning Thursday. The official bracket with match times will be announced on Saturday night.
