LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Wildcats women’s tennis team concluded day two of the Southeastern Conference Fall Coaches Classic with a win in doubles play that gave them the flight two consolation championship.

Senior Megan Broderick and sophomore Jessica Stiles paired up for the Cats Saturday to defeat Taylor Lindsey and Alex Clay of Alabama 8-5.

In singles play, Stiles defeated Mariia Ryzhova of Mississippi State 6-2, 6-3. Stiles will play Yvette Vlaar Sunday to conclude her singles play in the tournament.

The SEC Fall Coaches Classic is held at the Yarborough Tennis Center and features each of the SEC’s 12-member schools. As with all tournaments in the fall, results are only for individual records, and team results will not be calculated.

The Cats will close out the third and final day of the SEC Fall Coaches Classic Sunday. They will play again in two weeks in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in the Roberta Allison Fall Classic.
