Team Records and Series Notes

  • Kentucky improves to 17-4, 6-2 SEC while Alabama falls to 11-11, 0-9 SEC.
  • The Wildcats now lead the overall series 21-15 but still trail 9-7 when the game is played in Tuscaloosa.

  • Kentucky started with the lineup of Victoria Dunlap, A’dia Mathies, Carly Morrow, Brittany Henderson and Kastine Evans for the sixth consecutive game. This lineup is 6-0.
    • Marked the first time Kentucky has used the same lineup in six consecutive games.
    • UK has used 10 different starting lineups this season.
  • UK has started a freshman in 90 of 122 games during the Matthew Mitchell era, including 58 consecutive.
  • Key run: After trailing 50-54 with 12:20 to play in the game, the Wildcats mounted a 23-7 run to take a 73-61 lead. Keyla Snowden sparked the run, hitting a free throw followed by one of her game-high four 3-pointers.

  • Senior forward Victoria Dunlap recorded her 27th career and fifth double-double of the season with 25 points, 15 rebounds, three steals and three blocks.
    • Posted her sixth career 25-point and 15-rebound game, her first this season.
    • With three steals in the game and 274 in her career, she moved up to No. 3 on UK’s all-time steals list, passing Patty Jo Hedges (271 steals from 1979-83).
    • Has scored in double figures 18 times this season and 85 times in her career.
    • Has scored 20 or more points eight times this season and 28 times in her career.
    • Ninth consecutive game with double-figure points.
    • Scored 15 of her 25 points in the decisive second half.
  • Sophomore guard A’dia Mathies scored 12 points while recording five rebounds and four assists.
