LEXINGTON, Ky. – After Kentucky won the first game of the series with No. 12 Arkansas on a walk-off bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning, heavy rains hit the Central Kentucky area, halting play in the bottom of the third inning in the second game of the series at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.

The game will resume in the bottom of the third inning with the game scoreless and senior rightfielder Neiko Johnson leading off. UK starter Corey Littrell was tossing a gem through three innings, having allowed only one hit and striking out four. Arkansas had already replaced sophomore right-handed ace DJ Baxendale after two innings for lefty Cade Lynch.

The resumption of the game will keep the contest at the full nine innings, with the finale set for a seven-inning game per Southeastern Conference travel regulations. The game will be broadcast live on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio), with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. Fans in Lexington can hear the game live on WLAP 630-AM, in Louisville on WKJK 1080-AM and online at UKathletics.com.

UK rode a dominating performance on the mound from junior Alex Meyer in the first game, making a ninth-inning rally off Razorback closer Nolan Sanburn for a 3-2 walk-off win. Meyer struck out 10 in a complete-game gem, allowing only three hits and one earned run.
