Team Records and Series Notes

•    Kentucky improves to 22-27 overall, while Indiana drops to 27-21 on the season.
•    Kentucky now has an all-time record of 17-15 vs. Indiana. The Wildcats are 9-8 against the Hoosiers in games played in Lexington.
•    UK head coach Gary Henderson is now 81-78 in his coaching career.
•    The Wildcats are now 1661-1430-25 in NCAA play all-time.

Team Game Notes

•    Kentucky has won 11 of its last 12 non-conference games.
•    UK hit one solo home run in each of the first three innings.
•    Kentucky finished with a season-high four home runs.
•    The Wildcats turned inning-ending double plays in the second and fourth innings with two runners on base each time.
•    All nine UK starters reached base at least one time. Eight of the nine had at least one hit.
•    UK pitchers held IU All-American Alex Dickerson hitless in four at bats.
•    The last time these two teams met, they combined for 35 runs, 41 hits and 25 runners left on base. On Tuesday the combined for 13 runs, 27 hits and 20 stranded runners.

Individual Game Notes

•    Chad Wright laced a double to left-center in his first at bat against Indiana and hit a solo home run in the third inning.
o    Wright had a nine-game hitting streak and a stretch of 24 straight games having reached base safely stopped on Sunday.
o    It was Wright’s sixth home run of the season and 13th double.
o    Finished 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.
•    Taylor Rogers pitched 6.2 innings, allowing seven hits and one earned run while improving to 3-6 on the season.
o    He walked one and struck out three.
o    Made his sixth quality start of the season.
•    Alex Phillips made his 24th relief appearance of the season and earned his first save.
o    He pitched 1.2 innings, did not allow a hit and struck out two.
•    Neiko Johnson led off the bottom of the first inning with his first home run of the season and the second of his career.
o    Picked up his second steal of the season in the seventh inning.
o    Picked up his third steal later in the inning on a double steal with Taylor Black.
o    Went 1-for-3 with two runs, two walks and one RBI.
•    Michael Williams hit his seventh home run of the season, and the eighth of his career.
o    He was tied briefly with Luke Maile for the team lead in home runs.

•    Luke Maile hit his team-high eighth home run of the season in the seventh inning.
