In preparation for the 2011 Kentucky men’s soccer season, UKathletics.com is rolling out a series of player questionnaires, allowing fans, friends and family to get an inside look at UK soccer.
The series continues with UK junior defender Charles Pettys. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Pettys played in 14 games with 11 starts as a sophomore, his first year in Lexington. A 5-foot-11 defender, Pettys totaled a goal and an assist, with his goal coming as UK’s lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Memphis. Pettys later added an assist vs. FIU, helping tallying the game-winning goal.
