A native of Guatemala City, Guatemala, Vega has battled injuries through his first two seasons but has shown glimpses of his talent level. As a sophomore in 2010, Vega – considered one of the fastest players on UK’s 2011 roster – played in five games off the bench, logging 143 minutes and two shots.
